RESERVATIONS

Q. How do I reserve my hotel room?
A. Through telephone calls, facsimile or e-mail.

Q. When I submit my reservation, where does my request go?
A. It will go to our room's reservation department.

Q. How long will it take the Hotel to respond to my reservation request?
A. Within 24 hours.

Q. What is the cancellation policy on my reservation?
A. Cancellation of reservation should be done 48 hours prior to arrival date.
If cancellation is done less than 48 hours,a one night room charge may
be imposed.

Q. I don't have 24 hours to wait for confirmation. What can I do?
A. You may e-mail to the e-mail address available on our website.

Q. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
A. When you received our acknowledgement via the e-mail or fax within 24
hours. Every reservation treated as a confirmed reservation which will be
held till 18.00hrs unless it is a guaranteed reservation with advance
payment made.

Q. Once I have made my reservation, will I receive any confirmation
from the hotel?

A. Yes. We will e-mail the confirmation number within 24 hours.

Q. What happens if I encounter problem with my reservation upon
checking-in?

A. We would require the reservation confirmation number or supporting
documents.

Q. What do I need upon checking-in ?
A. Details of your reservation.

Q. What if, the hotel has no vacancy?
A. If we are fully booked then, your reservation would be put on waitlist.

Q. Can I book two rooms with one reservation?
A. You can book multiple rooms in one booking. However the rooms will be
under the one name only. Please indicate clearly the number of adults
during the booking process.

Q. How do I change or cancel my reservation?
A. Through telephone calls, facsimile or e-mail. Please specify your
confirmation number or name according to the Reservations Form.

Q. How far ahead should I make the reservations?
A. At least 48 hours before arrival date.


PAYMENTS

Q. What credit card types are accepted for guarantee/deposit?
A. Major credit cards are welcome such as Visa and Master Card.

Q. When do I have to include my credit card number?
A. When you require guaranteeing your reservation.

Q. Is it safe to use my credit card?
A. Yes.

Q. Why do you need my credit card number and expiry date?
A. To guarantee the reservation during peak period or late arrival.


ROOMS & RATES

Q. What about special discounts?
A. All rates quoted are based on on-going promotional rates.

Q. Three adults will be staying in one room, is there an extra person
charge?

A. No, there is no extra charge for the third person but extra mattress are available
for third person with an additional charge of RM 20.00 nett per mattress.
Subject to availability.

Q. Are rollaway beds/cribs available? Is there a charge?
A. Extra mattresses are available RM 20.00 nett per mattress. Subject to availability.

Q. Can I specify where I would like my room located (what floor, city
view, hill view)?

A. You may specify on your request but it will subject to availability upon arrival.

Q. Are taxes included in the rate?
A. Yes.

Q. Is the room rate per person or per night?
A. Per night.

Q. Is breakfast included?
A. No.

Q. Are the rates quoted inclusive of service charge?
A. Yes.

Q. What are the check-in & checkout times for a room?
A. Check-in time is 2.00 p.m and check out time is at 12.00 noon.

Q. I choose your hotel for my honeymoon, is there a special rate
for honeymoon?

A. All rates quoted are our promotional rates.

Q. Do you think we would require beds for our children, they are
aged 9 and 4 ?

A. mattresses are charged at RM 20.00 nett each.

Q. What is the earliest time I can check into the hotel room ?
We will be arriving at Kuala Lumpur early in the morning ?

A. Earliest time is 6.00a.m and it is subject to room availability.

Q. We will be arriving at 5.00a.m in the morning, if we check-in at this time,
do you consider this as one night?

A. Earliest check-in time is 6.00a.m . Any check-in before 6.00a.m will be
charged for the previous nite.

Q. Do you have any special rates for a Government Officer from a foreign
Company, I am able to produce all the required documents?

A. All rates quoted are our promotional rates.

Q. Do you have any special rates of a Malaysian Government Officer?
A. You may e-mail to the e-mail address available on our website.

Q. Our flight home is at 12.00 am, we would like to check out late at 8.00pm,
What is your rate for late check out?

A. Late check-out is until 5.00 p.m and a day charge of RM 50.00 nett is levied.

Q. Do you have corporate rates for journalists?

Q. Do you have hotelier special rate?

Q. We will be arriving at the Hotel at roughly around 3.00am, so can we
check in at that time?

LOCATION

Q. What are the directions to the hotel?
A. Our location map is available on our location webpage. We are within
walking distance to major business and financial centre in the city with
convenient accessibility to the city's Light Rail Transit (LRT) (nearest is
Hang Tuah station), Monorail (nearest is Bukit Bintang
station), buses (along Starhill, Lot10, McDonalds), and the taxi services
(stands at Lot10, Sungei Wang Plaza, BB Plaza and McDonalds).

Q. How far is the hotel from the airport?
A. Approximately 60km. 28 minutes to speed to the airport from KL City Air
Terminal, which is just minutes from hotel.

Q. How can I reach the hotels from the airport?
A. You'll have the choice of KLIA Express, taxis, airport limousine or airport
coach.

Q. Is the hotel accessible by LRT?
A. The LRT station is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Q. Is the hotel nearby to the City Centre and the Business district?
A. Yes, AGORA Hotel is strategically located in the heart of the Golden
Triangle in Kuala Lumpur fronting the shopping and entertainment
paradise of Jalan Bukit Bintang.


TRANSPORTATION

Q. Is there a hotel shuttle service to/from the airport?
A. Please enquire further at the Reception Counter.

Q. How much is the travelling fare from the airport?
A. Approx. RM60 - RM70 per trip by taxi, approx. RM35 per trip by KLIA Express.
(Subject to changes approved by the Road & Transport Department.)

Q. Do you offer rail passes or seasonal tickets for buses?
A. No.


HOTEL FACILITIES

Q. What are the facilities offered at your hotel?
A. All our rooms are tastefully furnished rooms with modern amenities,
individual air-conditioned control, pipe music,colour television ,IDD
telephone, car rental service, meeting room , safe deposit boxes and many
more .Please refer to our Room and Rates webpage for details.

Q. Do we need adaptors or transformers for our electrical devices?
A. If you are from Asians countries, adaptors or transformer are not needed
but advisable to carry with you as some electrical voltage may differ. In
Malaysia, the electricity runs on 240 volts with 50-cycle system.


MALAYSIA LAW

Q. Is there a speed limit on the Malaysian roads and are seat belts
required?

A. Speed limits vary on each road. The normal speed limit on the highway is
110 km/hr. Speed limit signboards are available for reference. Please do
not exceed the speed limit. Seat belts are required for the driver and the
front seat's passenger.

Q. Will we be driving on the same side of the road as in the USA?
A. No, in Malaysia, we drive on the right side of the road.

Q. Do we need a Malaysian driving permit -- does it require a test?
A. If you carry a valid International Driving License, you may not require a
Malaysian driving license. However, please check with the Malaysian Road
and Transport Department for further clarification.

Q. How much can I take currency back to the US tax-free?
A. Under the Travellers Declaration regulation, permitted currency limits are
as follows : A resident and a non-resident is permitted to carry into and out
of Malaysia, RM notes not exceeding M1,000 per person. There is no limit
on the amount of foreign currency notes or traveller's cheques carried into
Malaysia by resident and a non-resident. A resident is permitted to carry out
of Malaysia, foreign currency notes including traveller's cheques, not
exceeding RM10,000 equivalent per person. A non-resident is permitted to
carry out of Malaysia, foreign currency notes including traveller's cheques,
not exceeding the amount brought in.

Q. What is the legal drinking age?
A. 18 years old.

A. Depending upon which country you are from. Please check with our local
representative, embassy, consulate located in your respective country.

Q. Does anyone in Kuala Lumpur speak English or any other language?
A. English is the common language used here.Our national language is
Bahasa Malaysia. Malaysian commonly speaks Bahasa Malaysia, English,
Mandarin, Tamil and Cantonese.

Q. Can I buy international newspapers and magazines in Kuala Lumpur?
A. Yes.

Q. If we're into golf, tennis, horseback riding, does Kuala Lumpur offer
anything?

A. Yes.

Q. How are the hotel categories (ratings) defined?
A. We are rated as a 2 stars hotel.

Q. Do we need to change money before or upon arrival?
A. For your convenience, it is always advisable to change to local currencies
as all transaction in Malaysia will be in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). However,
there are moneychanger and banks nearby to do these transactions.

Q. What is the standard tipping practice in Malaysia?
A. There is no tipping practice in Malaysia. Tipping is at your own discretion.

Q. What's the weather like there - what about hurricane season?
A. Malaysia has an equatorial climate with uniform temperatures throughout
the year. There is no hurricane season in Malaysia.

Q. Where can I get information about travelling around KL?
A. Malaysian Tourism Board or your preferred travel agent all within this web
site.

Q. Where can I get information about theatres?
A. Directories, local newspaper or the hotel's information counter.

Q. Where can I exchange currency?
A. At the moneychanger or banks.

Q. Are clothing and shoe sizes the same in Kuala Lumpur as in the US?
A. No.

Q. Are all museums closed on Sundays and Mondays?

Q. Do women have to wear hair coverings in Kuala Lumpur?
